Present Manager

Present Manager is a gift-tracking app for iOS, Android and the web — "Never forget a gift. Never stress again." It keeps gift-giving occasions out of your cluttered calendar, reminds you in good time, and tracks what you spend so you stay on budget.

Built end to end by Lervad: a single cross-platform codebase shipped natively to both app stores and the web, with a fast, SEO-ready marketing site.

Tech stack

• App: Vue 3 + Ionic 8, TypeScript and Vite, with Pinia state and vue-i18n in five languages (English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German).
• Native shell: Capacitor packaging one codebase into native iOS and Android apps (com.present.manager) plus an installable web/PWA build.
• Backend: Firebase — Authentication, Firestore (per-user events & settings, isolated by security rules) and App Check.
• Reminders: Capacitor Local Notifications schedule advance alerts on-device.
• Marketing site: a prerendered, SEO-optimised landing page deployed on Firebase Hosting.

Development

One Ionic Vue codebase wrapped in Capacitor for native iOS/Android and shipped as a PWA, on a serverless Firebase backend with per-user data isolation. Three Pinia stores (auth, events, settings) drive a tab-based UI — Events, Budget and Account — and the marketing site is prerendered at build time for fast, indexable pages.
